On Friday, March 13, 2020 Bishop Bard asked the churches of Michigan to suspend “in-person gatherings” as a way to stop the spread of the CORVID-19 Coronavirus. We will respect the bishop’s request and “take a break”. Starting immediately, we will not be holding Sunday Worship Services, Bible Studies, after-school kids’ program, Lenten Soup Suppers, or church meetings for the rest of this month. Our hope is to be back to a normal schedule for April, but will make decisions at that time.
Pastor Z will be available during this time for emergencies, or if you’d just like to talk to stay connected. We will be regularly checking messages at the church (231-223-4393), and Pastor Z can be reached on her cell phone (586-441-2274). It’s important for us all to check in on one another and stay connected while we are limiting in-person gatherings.
Please inform the pastor if you know of a family in the area that may need a care package to get through the school closings. We realize that some families might struggle without the school’s breakfast & lunch plans. We can help if we are made aware of the need.
