Welcome Wednesday is a weekly opportunity for women of our community to gather for coffee (or tea) and conversation. It’s a casual time – drop in when you can. On some Wednesdays, we offer a craft activity or a speaker. Some folks bring their latest project, like knitting or macrame, but that’s totally up to you. Mostly, we just get together to chat.
As winter approaches, we will cancel if the roads are not safe to travel. Check out our Facebook page for current information about weather cancellations.

1 “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Why are you so far from saving me,
so far from my cries of anguish?
2 My God, I cry out by day,
but you do not answer,
by night, but I find no rest.”
Psalm 22:1-2 (NIV)
Of all the difficult, terrible things that can happen in this world, one of the scariest is being alone. Suffering, pain, tragedy—all are easier to bear when we know we are not alone in the struggle. When Jesus cries out from the cross, echoing the opening verses of Psalm 22, he cries out of a longing not to be alone in the midst of senseless violence.
Join us for a service of scripture and contemplation on this solemn evening.
